Day 6: Making friends and exploring the house

Today is BC's 6th day with us and she is doing great. Potty training is progressing with the occasional accident. She always goes outside when you ask her to, she just needs to learn to do the asking herself. She is super smart and very cuddly when she tires out. It's like having a baby again with getting up at night with her. She is down to only waking once a night though. 

Freddie finally broke through his own fears and began playing with BC yesterday. They chased each other around the backyard like maniacs. He still seems to avoid laying next to her on the couch, but he definitely is showing a youthful playful side of himself we haven't seen in years.

Stitch still wants nothing to do with Buttercream and just runs to the laundry room to be on her own, Tom says she's like Violet from Downton Abbey...she just doesn't understand the youth of today. Layla was the same way with Stitch. 

Buttercream has brought much joy and excitement to the family during a very rough time in all of our lives. Grandma and Grandpa love the new fur baby too.
